Our History.
Family Owned Since 1975
David Nice Builders has built a national reputation on quality craftsmanship whether building a local shop, national retail space, civil project, or large commercial building. Comprised of five divisions — retail, commercial, civil, millwork, and high-end residential — DNB’s impressive client list includes Ralph Lauren, J. Crew, Barnes & Noble, SeaWorld, local municipalities, the United States Government, valued developers, and many more.
In 2021, after 47 years at the helm of DNB, David Nice passed the presidency to his son Brandon Nice. David’s wife, Deborah, serves as Vice President, and their daughter, Kimberly Nice Woodroffe, is an owner consultant supporting her brothers and her husband, Skip, who serves as the company’s General Superintendent. Christopher Nice, Director of Retail Operations and Business Development is located at the company’s satellite location in Belgrade, Montana. The cornerstone of David Nice’s success is our quality craftsmanship, on-time delivery, strong relationships, transparency, and exemplary customer service.
“It is of extreme comfort to build something from scratch that you’ve invested your life and your soul into and have the privilege to pass it on to children that have the same goals, the same outlook on life, and the same work ethic.”
In 1997, DNB expanded to add its own 80,000-square-foot millwork facility, Nicewood Enterprises, offering custom millwork, fixtures, and woodwork.
